But J├╝rgen Klopp had bolstered hard his team's defence and that finally paid in their favour. Dortmund entered the finale for the first time after 1997 with a 4-3 lead.
Last time when Borussia Dortmund secured a final berth, they had Juventus with Zinedine Zidane waiting for them in the finale. But they played as a team without giving the legend any scope for scores. At Munich they lifted the crown for the first time in Champions League history. Munchen made it to the finale even in 2012, but unfortunately they have witnessed a defeat in the final not once but twice in the last three years.
